    Neuroblastoma Treatment Tough to Find in the UK

    UK families of neuroblastoma patients (over 100 kids a year are diagnosed with nb in the UK alone) are finding it hard to get treatment. The NHS (National Health Services) is not yet approving various treatments which are available in the US and increase survival rates 25%. Throughout the This Week in Neuroblastoma series, we’ve seen many families who have been forced to raise funds to be treated in the US. guardian.co.uk

    NB Foundation to be Supported at Australian Grand Prix

    An Australian nb foundation, You Are My Sunshine, has been selected as the official charity for the 2012 AirAsia Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix this October. The foundation was started in honor of Kahlilla Donahoo, who died from neuroblastoma in 2008 when she was 5 years old. paddocktalk.com

    Thanks so much for featuring our daughter, Sarah, this week. This year marks her ninth year as a survivor of Stage IV NB. She just started in the 11th grade this morning and we are so thankful!
